This award in the background, is an award, of many, that you can get in soccer. The way you can recieve this award is by playing the best out of everyone in the world that specific year. FIFA the organization that runs the award ceremony looks at how many goals that person scored, the quantity of assists they had, and overall their performance and consistency throughout the year of club level and international duties. Goalies can recieve this award too, but it will be harder for them since goalies are less looked at compared to the individuals scoring all the goals and getting all the glory.
